As a specialist in fastening techno-logy, SOYER has recently introduced its second generation stud welding inverter BMK-12i with SRM Technology®*. This stud welding equipment in miniature format, which carries the GS mark for certified quality and safety by technical inspection agency TUV Rheinland, opens up a new dimension in mobility and comfort: Weighing just 6.8 kg and offering a welding capacity of 800 amps, the BMK-12i welding inverter is suitable for weld studs up to a diameter of 12 mm. It produces high-strength welded joints without annoying flanges, welding beads or welding splatter by using conventional inert gases. This enables welders to use the stud threadright up to the base material. Moreover,there is no need to use ceramic ferrules, even when welding in constrained positions.Together with the handy and powerful welding inverter, SOYER has also introduced the Black Series weld stud generation HZ-1 with property class 8.8. These high-strength weldstuds are ideally suitable for the patented SRM® welding technology (patent no. 10 2004 051 389).They are manufactured in cold processing and are distinguished by their completely black color marking that is achieved by environmentally friendly black finishing.This eliminates any danger of confusionwith similar weld studs with lower property classes and allows all process steps including storage, transport and processingto be verifiably secured by visual inspection.
